The spinning spheres of the solar system has created an interesting myth for the bipedal hominids on the third planet from the sun. Because of the earth’s tilt, as the earth goes around the sun, seasons are created, and for those in the northern hemisphere the illusion that the sun might go away is cause of fear and celebration – every year the birth of the son savior is celebrated as Christmas holiday because the sun is gaining altitude in the sky.
Christians will tell you Jesus is the reason for the season, but the real reason is the earth’s tilt. If you lived on a planet with no or little tilt, you would not fear the sun’s annual departure, nor would you create myth of the sun rising again, or the birth of a solar savior like Christ. It’s all caused by the earth’s tilt, hominids on a no tilt planet would never even come up with the fear based myth that possesses much of humanity.
PLANET WITH SUBSTANTIAL TILT = SOLAR MYTH
PLANET WITH NO TILT = NO SOLAR MYTH
The entire solar sun son Jesus myth is due to the earth’s tilt. If the earth was not titled on it’s axis, their would be no illusion of the sun going down in the winter months – and the associated fear of the sun’s disappearance nor the celebration of the sun’s rebirthing as it rose again.
After the summer sun starts to move at first slowly lower in the sky, the sun starts to appear substantially lower, the nights start getting colder and plants start to die. Autumn death is all around, humans hunt game fat from summer forage, leaves fall, the sun gets lower and lower and those societies dependent on agriculture would naturally worship and fear the loss of the sun.
An observer would make the connection that as the sun gets lower death sets in, just the opposite of the spring when life grows.
Those agriculture based ancient societies had a different cosmology then us, they did not know what you take for granted, they believed in a flat earth and that the earth was the center of the system, not just the solar system, but everything. The earth was fixed, not moving, and to suggest otherwise was heresy.
Until recently everyone believed all the heavenly objects existed on the same plane and ALL rotated around the earth position. It was heresy to suggest otherwise and those that did were burned at the stake. Clearly the sun was moving and we were not moving, and since you can feel movement and see the sun moving from sunrise to sunset.
They not only thought the sun, moon, stars, and planets were all equidistant from us, they all rotated around us, and that they were all flat circles (like pancakes). They assigned superior characteristics to these objects, they deified them as gods because they could fly across the sky. The myth that exists to this day is based on these incorrect observations.
Christ is the anthropomorphized sun myth created by a tilted earth. If the earth was not tilted, then everyday would be the same and no Christ myth would have been ever invented. Such is a case for those living near the equator – most of the year is about the same and no fear grips the culture like in the northern climes.
Integral to this sun death and rebirth myth is the blood red sun myth. When the sun goes down the color can change from the refracted light of the atmosphere, thus the sun was dying at sunset – you could see the red blood as proof. If someone told you that back then why would ever think differently – you could see the proof with your own eyes.
So not only does the sun disappear every night as it moves across the sky – myth described the sun as being killed. The Egyptians believed that the sun god Osiris (Horus) was killed by his evil twin brother Set. We still say the sun sets or sunset. We are so unconscious we still say “Amen, Amen” at the end of our prayers not realizing we are affirming the name of Amenhotep, the first Egyptian Pharaoh who realized monotheism.
How does any of this relate to modern times and current politics. Americans are gripped with exceptionalism, they are projecting political power at behest of Jewry all over the globe particularly the Middle East. This cultural value of being better than all the rest comes directly from the solar myth of being saved. Americans have Christian values, which are Jewish values, which are separatist values.
“I’m saved, you’re not” is a religious meme that translates into political exceptionalism, they willingness to bomb others and assert dominance. Americans have no problem with the complete destruction of Syria and Iraq while celebrating the birth of their Jewish savior king. Pure madness based on Jewish religious exclusionism.
